After what seemed an incredibly long winter, last week there were finally blue skies and bright green leaves.
The bare sculptures of the tree limbs of winter are replaced with beautiful, vibrant color. There is joy again. Winter fades, spring comes. There is something to be learned in the beauty of the bare sculptured trees of winter. Those times can be hard, but without them there would be no green leaves. God does restore our joy. Seasons change but Jesus Christ is always there for us.
Psalm 51:12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit.
Psalm 30:5 For his anger is but for a moment, and his favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may tarry for the night but joy comes in the morning.
Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
