It is has been a long day after a very long week with lots of work, staying late every day and then having to work today, Saturday. After supper and our walk I just sat down in my sunroom and pulled up the ipad and went to the YouTube app. One of my channels is Beckenhorst press, a company that publishes choral music and I came across this wonderful song, "I Will Rise." The video was filmed at sunrise and the words were just God's voice - Here is the link: https://youtu.be/_FQb-cVwbKE?list=PLD3B0B9CB8F88702A
These beautiful words were just the ones I need right now as I struggle with the responsibilities of work and family and church. They are words of hope. Words that I need as I rise to face each day. I looked for some pictures I have taken at sunrise and put them with some of the words here:
I will rise when He calls my name
No more sorrow, no more pain,
I will rise on eagle's wings
Before my God
Fall on my knees
And rise
There is a day that's drawing near
Where this darkness breaks to light
And the shadows disappear
And my faith shall be my eyes
There's a peace I've come to know
Though my heart and flesh may fail
There's an anchor for my soul
I can say it is well.
Jesus has overcome and the grave is overwhelmed
The victory is won
He is risen from the dead
And I will rise when He calls my name
No more sorrow, no more pain,
I will rise on eagle's wings
