“I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. If anyone does not remain in me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you. This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.
Today after church I went with a friend on a hike up Porter's Creek in the Great Smoky Mountains to Fern Branch Falls. Whenever I go out with my camera I always ask God to show me something wonderful. And he always does. I got to see a wildflower that I have read about but never seen. It is a called a Dutchmen's Britches. This is my picture today. As this is the beginning of passion week I have decided that all my scriptures this week will come from John 14-17, Jesus last teaching with his disciples.

AuthorI am a daughter, a wife, a mother and now a grandmother. I am wonderfully loved first by Jesus Christ then by two wonderful parents, three sisters and their families, a special husband, two extraordinary children and a wonderful son in law and daughter in law, two new grandsons, and dear Christian friends.
