School has also been very busy. I have come to the point in edtech where I have to create a lot of lessons. So I am creating and grading, which is something I try to avoid. Right now I am caught up, but there are projects coming in after break and advising is next week. .
Tuesday morning I had a special time to shoot. There was a big rain all day Monday and I thought that just maybe there might be fog at the falls. And I was right, boy was there fog. It was so much fog that you couldn't really see the Falls, but the fog made it beautiful in unexpected places. I took this picture at the overlook but looking the other way and not looking at the falls. In the distance was the sun rising through the fog and over the cliffs. The tree seemed to frame the picture. God gives us unexpected joys, things we don't expect to find, but there they are. Photography has helped me to see this in new ways. I am thankful for my camera and what photography has taught me about God's world. He gave me rest in a beautiful place. And even though I have been here hundreds of times, on this day He made it new for me. He will always make things new. He even makes us new: 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old is goine, the new is here." May God make you new and give you new things to see in favorite places.
