Myrrh is mine: Its bitter perfume
Breaths a life of gathering gloom.
Sorrowing, sighing, bleeding dying,
Sealed in the stone-cold tomb.
Glorious now behold Him arise,
King and God and Sacrifice.
Alleluia, alleluia!
Sounds through the earth and skies.
O star of wonder, star of night,
Star with royal beauty bright,
Westward leading, still proceeding,
Guide us to thy perfect Light
So I have the star on the top of my tree to remind me that God will guide us to him just like he did the wise men so long ago.
I have a few other favorite ornaments that I will add below. I am going to try to add them in a slideshow to see how this feature works.
